Surfacing

Do I sing to the silence? Do I sing to any other name but yours?  Night is out in front of me. I drive dizzy across hills and into our shallow valley.   To return to the place you sit, no further than my own bed.  I need you near, to bless me with your open admission.  My thick heart is paper thin when you're so close.  Don't give me words, just show me how to dance quiet at night.  Hold my hand, like in simple times and shush me with your rock.  I will hold you close with my pull.
